This painting speaks to remind us of a gentle yet powerful form of love - adoration. With this painting, inspired by a photo of my younger brother and his girlfriend, I wanted to portray the calmness, comfort, and purity found in adoration for another. When you adore someone, light always shines on them and the shadows are kept at bay. I hope when people view this piece they are reminded of how time pauses when we adore.
